Está película mexicana de Alfonso Cuarón ya ganó varios premios, entre ellos el Globo de Oro a mejor película. La historia se desarrolla a principios de los años setenta y gira en torno a la vida de Cleo, una empleada doméstica, y cómo percibe y vive ella el día a día con una familia de la Ciudad de México. La película está tan bien hecha, que los que vivieron los años setenta realmente sienten que se transportan de regreso a esa época.

Esta película es una tercera adaptación de la versión de 1937.

La protagonista de esta película, dirigida por Bradley Cooper, es Lady Gaga, quien nos deslumbra a todos con su gran actuación y hermosa voz. De hecho, está nominada como mejor actriz.

Basada en la vida real de Tony Lip, un férreo ítalo-estadounidense que trabajo durante muchos años como seguridad en el club Copacabana en Nueva York, y que en 1962 se convierte en el chofer del famoso pianista Don Shirley.
